How to set up GPRS GSM for Nokia 6300

To configure your gprs service on the nokia 6300 phone, it is not that hard, you only need to know the settings and how to navigate to the tools on your nokia phone.
-Click on Menu and then Settings.
- Scroll to Configuration and then Select Personal Configuration --> my Web > Account name
- On the account name type My mtn
Homepage = http://wap.smart.com.ph
user name = web
password = (Leave blank)
Use preferred Access point = No
- Select Access point settings
Data bearer should be Packet DATA
Proxy > Enabled
proxy address = 10.102.61.46
Proxy port = 8080
- Then select BEARER settings:
--> Packet data access pt = SMARTGPRSt
Then Exit.
Go to Menu > Web >Settings:
Select Configuration settings > Personal configuration.
Then you are good to go.
